An HSE card (HMS-kort) is a personal identification card that proves a worker is properly registered with Norwegian authorities. It contains the worker’s name, photo, D-number, and employer information. The card must be worn visibly on site at all times and presented on request during inspections.
HSE cards are mandatory for all workers in construction, cleaning services, manual car care, and wheel change and storage services. This applies to both Norwegian and foreign employees. If your workers will be on a Norwegian construction site, they need a valid HSE card.
